Both Images were shot a month and a half ago in Paris.
I have thought often of a photograph I once saw of 3 statues with a trio of military helicopters overhead in Paris. The three female statues were the 3 graces, a favorite of olden day artists for its clearly Sapphic overtones (the images of the three graces were once referenced in a Simpson episode to portray the "Vassar Girls")
These images was shot right beside the Louvre with my Holga, a toy-like camera which uses professional film but provides very unpredictable results. Since San Francisco 3 months ago ( Carousel image) I have been using the Holga for double exposure/montage imagery.
There are hints of something romantic and erotic; and very nostalgic.
