Just found this on the Tate Website, the damn thing is beautiful.
Not sure who this long dead man reminds me of but for some reason, it looks fascinating and in its own way, utterly modern.

April 27th, 2006 I stand corrected
I did these drawings, I was studying the hairstyles of these women in erotic drawings and prints in the gothic art movement of the 1770-1830s. The show was called Gothic Nightmares, it was alright, Fuseli and Blake obvi. I went to the old Tate to see the Turners, I had this dreadful day and insane night previous.
